Taichi Living Classes
太極課程
The Taichi Living Journey
The "Taichi Living Style" tai chi has 24 movements. Eric Arthur has refined and adapted this style of tai chi after studying the Yang and Beijing 24 forms. The TCL 24 accentuates flow over positions, integration of tai chi skill over perfection of the form. Providing the tools to turn every activity into tai chi. Now instead of perfecting a martial skill we can perfect everyday tasks.
The Taichi Living journey comes in three stages, each building upon the last to develop true mastery of the art.
The First 100 Steps
In this stage we work on learning the 24 forms and memorizing them. Building the foundation.
The Next 1,000 Steps
This is where the details of each of the 24 forms takes priority. Refining your practice.
The Next 10,000 Steps
Here is when you will develop a mastery of the 24 forms. Moving from being instructed by me, to becoming your own master.
In addition to learning the TCL 24 form, each stage includes, in increasing development, aspects of integrating the LIVING part of Taichi Living. Taking the skills you learn in the form into everyday life.

Who Classes Are For
These classes are for all levels. This creates a feeling of community without ego, with the understanding that we will always be learning to improve our skill.
What to Expect
Classes start, and end, with all levels together, then moving to break out sessions for working on different forms. I provide individualized guidance based on where you are in your journey.
What to Bring & Wear
Attire
For outdoor winter classes, dress for warmth at the expense of freedom of movement. For all other classes, I recommend loose fitting clothing that drapes over form fitting clothes.
Essentials
Bring a water bottle to stay hydrated during practice. That's all you need to begin your journey.
