Tea Events for Any Occasion
Tea events can be for educational or entertainment purposes. Bring the art of Chinese tea to your gatherings and create memorable moments for your guests.
Educational Setting
In an educational setting, I pour teas to showcase the history, ceremony, and culture of Camellia Sinensis, the tea plant.
I also go over what affects the taste of tea: location, picking styles, and processing styles.
My specialty lies in adding herbology to the understanding of what tea can do for our bodies. Adding medicine as an additional reason to drink tea. Then choosing the best tea to affect our thoughts, emotions, as well as body.
Educational Tasting
Includes 3-4 teas
Best for: conferences, workshops, and events where attendees will gain more knowledge of Chinese tea and its medicinal aspects.
Entertainment Settings
In an entertainment setting, I offer two styles of tea service designed to enhance how your guests feel.
Curated Experience
Includes 3-4 teas
You provide 3 key words that describe how you want people to feel, and I will choose the teas to pour that will get your guests feeling that way.
You and I curate the tea experience together.
Examples of words or phrases: energetic, peaceful, open hearted, artistic, etc.
Best for: weddings, birthdays, release parties, dances, retreats.
Prescriptive Journey
Access to entire medicine chest
I will pour tea as an individual prescription. In this type of event I bring my whole medicine chest of tea.
Each person receives a personalized tea based on how they feel right now, and how they want to change or accentuate how they want to feel.
Best for: weddings, birthdays, release parties, dances, retreats.
An experience guests will remember for the rest of their lives.
